Join us in wishing an “okaerinasai” to the recently returned JETs at our Tsukimi picnic! Friends and family are welcome to join us for taiko, tabemono (food), hot tea and, of course, full moon viewing!
When: Saturday, October 24th, from late afternoon until after sundown.
Where: Chautauqua Park in Boulder, the lower park area near Baseline Road and Kinnekinic Road.
We’re going to have this pot luck style so please bring a dish to share. Hot tea will be provided, but feel free to bring the beverage of your choice. It is autumn in Colorado, so don’t forget temperatures can drop fast especially after sundown!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Join us in giving a big “okaerinasai” to recent Rocky Mountain JET returnees and come to our Tsukimi (moon viewing) party.

Friends and family are welcome to join! Sushi will be provided, but it may get chilly so bringing some hot cocoa/coffee/etc is encouraged! We do have an indoor back-up plan in case of crummy weather, so please check back the day of the Tsukimi for any updates and/or RSVP at Facebook above so we can easily contact you!
Flood Update: Chautauqua Park is open and Tsukimi will go forward as planned! See you on Saturday!
RMJETAA will be celebrating the (near) full moon with a Tsukimi celebration in Boulder!

As some of you may know, in Japan on a full moon evening in the fall they celebrate tsukimi or 月見 (lit. moon viewing). We would like to do the same and enjoy a nice potluck picnic at Chautauqua Park in Boulder, where amazing views can be seen!
So grab your picnic blankets, Japanese okashi (snacks), tsukimi dango (rice dumplings), Japanese sake, small snacky items, etc and meet us at the park to celebrate a cool, crisp autumnal full moon evening together, Japanese style! RMJETAA WILL BE PROVIDING FREE JAPANESE FOOD AS LONG AS YOU BRING A SMALL DISH OF SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE! =)
This event is free and open to the public so feel free to invite any interested friends and family!! Please DON’T bring any glass bottles, as the park doesn’t allow it. The park officially closes at 11pm.
We hope to see you and others there! =)
