
Where and When?
Join Broomfield Sister Cities, JASC, the JET Alumni Association of the Rocky Mountains, the Japanese Consulate in Denver, and the City of Broomfield to learn about Japanese New Year Traditions! There will be a nengajo (Japanese new years’ cards) making workshop, kami-shibai and other fun activities for the kiddos, and plenty to learn about Japanese traditions like osechi (new year’s food) and hatsumode (first shrine visit of the new year).
This event is open to the public but we ask that you try to purchase your tickets ahead of time. Price of tickets are as follows:
General Admission: $8
Child/Student: $5
Family (3 or more): $13
JASC/JETAARM Members: $5
